Both Castles in the Sand holiday houses are located within Essaouira’s historic Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage setting known for its whitewashed buildings, colourful doors, traditional souks and artisan workshops.
From either house, you can explore the Medina on foot. Restaurants, cafés, markets and independent shops are close by. Meanwhile, Essaouira’s long sandy beach is approximately a 10-minute walk away.
As a result, guests can enjoy the atmosphere of the Old Medina while remaining close to the Atlantic coast.
Dar Beida Near Bab Doukkala
Dar Beida is a distinctive 4-bedroom holiday house near Bab Doukkala, towards the quieter rear of Essaouira Medina. It sleeps up to 8 guests and offers a peaceful retreat close to local food markets. At the same time, you can easily reach the Medina’s main sights, restaurants and beach on foot.
Dar Emma Near Place Moulay Hassan
Dar Emma is a charming 2-bedroom holiday house near Place Moulay Hassan, at the front of Essaouira’s Old Medina. It sleeps up to 4 guests and is ideal for couples, small families and friends. Restaurants, cafés and the heart of Essaouira are all close by. In addition, guests can reach the beach in around 10 minutes on foot.
